4th Sunday of the Ordinary Time

1.    The Government has withdrawn weekend curfew, however the impact of Covid has not been reduced.  We request our parishioners to take precautions against Covid.

2.    This Sunday onwards we will have offline catechism classes. The classes commence at 8.15 am followed by Sunday mass for children at 9.30 am.

3.    The First Holy Communion catechism will commence on 5th March from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The parents of the First Holy Communion children are expected to meet the Parish Priest on 5th March at 4.00 pm in the Church along with the children.


4.    We will be publishing Izaicho Kollo during Easter. We request you to send articles and advertisements before 28th of February.


5.    This week we complete the house blessings. Only 564 families have given their annual kaido contribution to the Church.  We request everyone to be generous towards the up keeping of the Church by contributing the annual kaido. We thank you in anticipation.


6.    We invite our parishioners to apply for the voter ID by the end of February with the help of Catholic Sabha and YCS.  We provide registration facilities in the Church office itself.  Kindly contact to Church office staff for further details.


7.    Meetings:

a.     There will be a meeting of Catechism teachers on coming Sunday, 6th February at 10.30 am in Meeting Room No. I.


8.      Sunday Liturgy arrangements for the coming week:

         a.  Saturday: 5.00 p.m. mass – St Thomas ward, Church B

b.    Sunday : 7.00 a.m. mass –St Vincent De Paul Society 

c.     Sunday : 4.30 p.m. mass –Christ the King ward, Nodu



9.    Donations received towards Church:

a.    Miss Valerie Fernandes, Infant Jesus ward, Museum B -  Rs. 10,000/-

b.    N.N., Infant Jesus ward, Museum B - Rs. 5,000/-

10.        Donations received towards Medical Fund:

a.     N.N., Our Lady of Rosary ward, C.M.Lower – Rs. 3,000/-


   11. Previous Sunday’s Collection: Rs. 20,156/-
