MUTTON/CHICKEN GREEN MASALA

         Ingredients: 

§  1 Kg.Mutton or Chicken

§  4 Onions (small)

§  4 Green Chillies

§  1 inch Ginger

§  10 flakes Garlic

§  Medium bunch of Fresh Coriander

§  1 tsp. Jeera

§  5/6 Pepper corns

§  2 pcs.Cinnamon

§  6 Cloves

§  ½ tsp.Haldi Powder

§  1 tsp.Koskos (popy seeds)

§  Few Mint Leaves

§  2 tbs.ground coconut

§  Tamarind (little)

§  1 Tomato

§  Salt to taste 

Method:

For Chicken: 

Grind all the above ingredients into a paste.Roast them before grinding.Season with one onion and fry the masala well till it is brown. Add chicken soup cube (optional) for flavour. Lastly, add chicken and leave it to cook till it is ready. 

For Mutton: 

Boil the meat first and keep aside.Same ingredients as above.Also add 1 tbsp. corriander seeds and 1 tsp.badishep (Ani seed) when grinding. 

Roast all the ingredients before grinding.Take one small onion and fry again till it is slightly brown and then add cooked meat and remove when ready.

Clean and cut chicken into medium pieces without skin. In a bowl mix curds, garam masala powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.  Marinate chicken pieces in this mixture for about an hour.  Heat a non stick pan with 1 tbsp. oil. Add curry
