1. Rev Deacon Leston Lobo SJ will be ordained this week on Saturday, 14^th October at 10.00 am in Fatima Retreat House. He will be celebrating his first thanksgiving mass on Sunday, 15^th October in his home parish Moodubelle in Udupi Diocese. Kindly remember him in your prayers.

2. On coming Sunday there will be catechism examination. Thereafter for two weeks there will be no catechism. We will resume catechism on 1^st Sunday of November. However attending Sunday mass is obligatory. We request the parents and children to keep this in mind.

3. There will be blessing of vehicles after every Mass during the upcoming weekend organized under the leadership of Catholic Sabha and ICYM. Your generous contributions will be utilized for the activities of ICYM.

4. Jeevan Jyothi camp for 10^th grade students will be held on 16^th, 17^th and 18^thOctober in Urwa Church hall. All the students of 10^thgrade are expected to participate in this camp.

5. We would like to celebrate Mission Sunday on 22^nd October in a meaningful manner. Therefore, kindly keep in mind that it is not just an activity to raise funds but it is a way to show our love towards the mission of the Church.

- If you have scraps and newspapers kindly send it to the Church office.

- Kindly return the mission envelops with your generous contribution.

- Children are requested to return the mite boxes with their offering.

- There will be a lucky draw with attractive prizes such as scooter and android mobile phone.

- We will be having food stalls too.

- We will conduct auction on Mission Sunday. We request you to contribute items that could be auctioned. We also request you to actively participate in the Mission Sunday auction.

6. Catholic Sabha is conducting elocution competition for all the children on Sunday, 29^th October at 10 am in SFX meeting room. For further details kindly see the notice board.

7. On Sunday, 29^th October, 2023, our Parish Priest, Fr J.B. Saldanha, will be celebrating his 60^thbirthday. On that day evening instead of 4.00 pm mass, we shall have thanksgiving mass at 5.00 pm followed by felicitations and dinner. All of you are cordially invited to join in this celebration.

8. On Thursday, 2^nd November we will be visiting the cemetery in commemoration of all the faithful departed (All Souls day). We request the gurkars along with the wards members to come to clean the cemetery during the coming weeks as preparation for all souls day.

9. As there is limited space in our cemetery we request our parishioners to shift the mortal remains from the graves to niches.

10. While cleaning the grave sites please do not use cement or mortar to repair the graves. Kindly be cooperative.

11. Missionary Families of Christ (MFC) Mangalore, Youth Chapter have organized a 3 day residential camp at St Aloysius school, Urwa, Ladyhill from Saturday, 21^st October, 4.30 pm till Monday, 23^rd October, 5.30 pm for the age group of 13 to 20 years. We encourage the youth from our parish to attend this camp. For more details kindly see the notice board.

12. Our Parish Priest Fr J.B. Saldanha will be on leave in November. If you wish to discuss any pastoral matters you may contact him during the coming days.
